Burleigh

Burleigh creates handmade, authentic, and timeless tableware, teaware, and gifting items. The company has a rich history, starting in 1851 and remaining in the heart of English pottery. Since 1889, it’s based at Middleport Pottery in Stoke-on-Trent. Burleigh takes pride in being guardians of craftsmanship. They are the only pottery in the world that still uses the renowned tissue transfer decoration technique. This technique brings their iconic archive patterns to life using engraved copper rollers. A method dating back over 250 years, there are now just 12 craftspeople in the world who have this precise skill, and they are all craftspeople at Burleigh.
